Flavia is a Turkish-Italian director, born in Paris and raised in New York City. She earned a BFA in Film Production from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and uses film to connect more deeply with the world and rediscover her roots.
She worked for acclaimed filmmakers like Noah Baumbach, Cédric Klapisch, and supported Emmanuel Lubezki’s camera team on the Oscar winning Birdman. As a Writer/Director, Flavia’s own films won awards at festivals around the globe.Currently based in London via a Cultural Studies masters from the University of Edinburgh, Flavia just produced and directed her feature film, Daydreams. Through her production company Caritas Films, Flavia produces videos for new cultural brands, which you can check out on our magazine!
