At CineMavericks, we empower the next generation of independent-minded thinkers by helping kids 8+ become strong visual communicators - vital skills for today's digital world. We give learners the tools to feel confident in expressing their point of view, and applying that to all aspects of filmmaking.
We've had quite the journey so far! We started in the pandemic as a response to finding a way to connect with the globe & still be able to make things - all from home. Meeting kids worldwide & supporting them to express themselves was a true joy. 2 years later, we've been invited to school workshops around London and even got to lead a #NERF-sponsored content creation event for 100+ kids! We tried & tested our hybrid model, keeping the online classes going weekly. Next up: holiday camps in May and the summer - it'll roll around fast and we're there for it!

We've updated our programme, designed to use simple tools but produce high-level videos. We believe that through the filmmaking process, kids improve a host of soft skills like teamwork & leadership abilities. We are passionate about maintaining an inclusive creative environment, so families from low-income backgrounds can contact us for additional options. We want to hear all of your stories.
