Caritas Films is a London-based production company founded by filmmaker Flavia Casà to produce film, theatre, branded and commercial content. Please view our showreels below in narrative drama, narrative comedy, branded content, and cinematography. Caritas Films produced the award-winning coming-of-age feature film drama, "Beautiful in the Morning", currently in the festival circuit. Caritas is the name of Flavia's Turkish grandparents' sailboat. During her childhood by the Mediterranean sea, Flavia's imagination and daydreams are at the heart of her stories today. Caritas Films offers freelance video production services.
Born in Paris to Turkish & Italian parents, Flavia was raised in NYC and graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where she wrote & directed award-winning short films. She was mentored by Academy Award-winning Cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki on "Birdman". Flavia also worked for acclaimed Directors Noah Baumbach and Cédric Klapisch. She works as a Writer/Director & Video Producer in London. She is also a Film Mentor & founder of ClickPlay Online Film School: filmmaking courses to empower young people. She enjoys doing improv, cycling and listening to a good podcast.
